Security Manager Luchtvracht

Every secure air cargo entity, such as a known consignor or regulated agent, must have a Security Manager who has been trained in accordance with 11.2.5 EU 20115/1998. The basic Security Manager training is recognized by the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) and the Royal Military Police. The basic training concludes with a Cito exam. Once you pass, you will receive a security manager certificate and a Cito certificate, which will demonstrate to the Royal Military Police that you are certified as a security manager.

PLEASE NOTE:
This training can only be followed with a valid VOG or VGB.
The valid VOG/VGB must be shown at the start of the training, together with a valid ID / Passport.
If the student does not have a valid VOG/VGB, the student will be refused.

For Whom
The course is intended for individuals who are responsible for maintaining the recognition on behalf of the known consignor or regulated agent. You will develop the security program and the underlying documents and act as the point of contact between the company and the Royal Military Police. You will establish the internal quality program and ensure that the activities are carried out within the framework of national regulations for air cargo security.

Course Material
The course is based on the National Training Program for Civil Aviation Security (NOBB) and the applicable European and national regulations.
Each participant will receive a comprehensive course book that clearly explains the subject matter and can be used as a reference.

CITO exam
After completing the basic Security Manager training, you will receive a code that allows you to register for the mandatory CITO exam at various locations in the Netherlands. You can register on the CITO website for a suitable location and time. The costs for the exam are not included in the course fee.
Upon successful completion of the exam, CITO will issue a certificate valid for 5 years. To keep the certificate valid, you need to attend a 1.5-day Security Manager refresher training within 30 months (2.5 years).
After 5 years, you can take the refresher training again and request a new CITO exam through SCS.

Course Duration

• The basic security manager course consists of a three (3) day classroom training:
  All days: 09:00 to 17:00
• The refresher course security manager consists of a one and a half-day (1,5) training:
  Day 1: 09:00 - 17:00
  Day 2: 09:00 - 13:00
