Air Cargo Security Manager

About the Training
Every known consignor or regulated agent of air cargo must employ a Security Manager trained in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998, article 11.2.5. The Air Cargo Security Manager is responsible for:

• Maintaining the regulated status
• Preparing the security program and quality plan
• Acting as liaison with the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee
• Ensuring compliance with national air cargo security regulations

Prerequisites & Admission
To participate in this training, the following is required:

• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) or Certificate of No Objection (VGB)
• No prior education required

Important: At the start of the course, participants must present a valid VOG or VGB and a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or ID card). Without a valid VOG/VGB, participation is not allowed. Training Duration

• Basic training: 3 days in-class
• Refresher training: 1.5 days in-class

Course Materials
The training follows the National Training Program for Civil Aviation Security (NOBB) and applicable EU and national legislation. Each participant receives a clear course manual for reference.

CITO Exam

• After completing the basic training, you are required to take the mandatory CITO exam.
• The examination can be taken at multiple locations throughout the Netherlands.
• Registration for the CITO examination is arranged by Customer Service in consultation with the candidate.
• Examination fees are not included in the training costs.
• Upon passing, you will receive a certificate that is valid for 5 years.
