Air Cargo Supervisor

Each regulated agent where security screening takes place shall employ a Supervisor trained in accordance with 11.2.4 EU 20115/1998.

CAUTION:

This training can only be attended with a valid VGB.
The valid VGB must be shown at the start of the training, in addition a valid ID / passport / driver's license must also be shown. 
If the trainee does not possess a valid VGB, the trainee will be refused.

For Whom

The course is intended for the person at the regulated agent who oversees the implementation of security screening and supervises the work of personnel involved in handling air cargo.
You will be the mentor and point of inquiry for in-house staff and the air cargo controller.
In cooperation with the security manager, you will be responsible for the internal quality system and that the work and security screening is carried out in accordance with own procedures and national regulations for air cargo security.

Course material

The course is taught using the National Training Program for Civil Aviation Security (NOBB) and applicable European and national regulations.

Each participant receives a comprehensive course book, which clearly explains the material and can be used for reference.

CITO exam

After attending the basic training course Supervisor Airfreight you will receive a code that allows you to register for the CITO at various locations in the Netherlands. You can register here via the website of CITO at a location and time convenient for you. The cost of this is not included in the course.

If you successfully complete the exam, you will receive a certificate from CITO that is valid for 5 years.

Pre-education

The Supervisor should be in possession of a valid certificate Air Cargo Employee (11.2.3.9) and Air Cargo Screener (11.2.3.2) before attending this course.

The student must be in possession of a valid VGB before attending this course.

Duration of the course

The basic course air cargo supervisor consists of a four (4) hour classroom training.
The refresher course consists of two (2) hours of classroom training.
