IATA 7.3 – Acceptatie en verwerking van zendingen
About this training
Het veilig en efficiënt vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen door de lucht vraagt om competent personeel, hetgeen betekent dat medewerkers moeten zijn opgeleid in de functies waarvoor zij verantwoordelijk zijn - ongeacht of dit al dan niet in de functieomschrijving staat vermeld. Dit wordt het best bereikt door een op competenties gebaseerde opleiding en beoordeling (CBTA – Competency Based Training and Assessment).
Voor wie
Deze Nederlandstalige cursus wordt aanbevolen voor 'Personeel dat verantwoordelijk is voor de verwerking en de acceptatie van zendingen met gevaarlijke stoffen voor vervoer door de lucht’ volgens IATA's DGR - sectie 1.5 en in overeenstemming met functie 7.1 in IATA's 'Dangerous Goods Training Guidance'.
Voorheen behandeld in categorie 1, 3 & 6 en bekend onder de naam Luchtvervoer Gevaarlijke Stoffen.
Inhoud van de cursus
De belangrijkste onderwerpen die tijdens deze cursus aan bod komen, zijn onder meer:
- De basisbeginselen van gevaarlijke stoffen en goederen begrijpen
- Verpakkingsmogelijkheden en beperking van de hoeveelheden
- Verpakkingsvoorschriften
- Merken en etiketteren
- Oververpakkingen
- Documentatie
- Gebruik van controlelijsten
- Verzamelen van veiligheidsgegevens
Cursusmateriaal
De cursus wordt gegeven aan de hand van de laatste editie van de Engelstalige IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, het in de praktijk door de luchtvaartindustrie gebruikte handboek voor het vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen door de lucht.
Dit handboek wordt voor de duur van de cursus aan de deelnemers in bruikleen gegeven.
Daarnaast ontvangt iedere deelnemer een uitgebreid cursusboek, waarin op duidelijke wijze in de Nederlandse taal de materie wordt besproken en uitgelegd.
Dit cursusboek bevat een groot aantal opgaven waarmee de cursist wordt voorbereid op het examen.
Vereiste vooropleiding
Voor deelname aan de training (basis + herhaling) dient de cursist eerst de bewustwordingstraining te volgen behorende bij deze training via een online module of in het bezit te zijn van een soortgelijke certificering.
Duur van de cursus
- De basiscursus bestaat uit een twee (2) dagen klassikale training
- De herhalingscursus bestaat uit twee (2) dagen klassikale training

The course is given on the basis of the latest edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, the handbook used in practice by the aviation industry for the transport of dangerous goods by air.
This handbook is on loan for participants for the duration of the course.
In addition, each participant receives an extensive course book, in which the material is clearly discussed and explained in the English language.
This course book contains a large number of exercises that prepare the student for the exam.
