About this training
The transport of hazardous materials is governed by the ADR regulations. Drivers who wish to transport hazardous materials are required to have the ADR Driver’s Certificate. This training course teaches drivers how to comply with the regulations applicable to an ADR driver. With the addition of Class 7, drivers are also authorized to transport radioactive materials above the exemption limits. The participant is prepared for the exams to be taken at the CBR/CCV.
Target Audience
The course is intended for drivers of vehicles transporting hazardous materials within Europe above certain exempted quantities.
In addition to packaged goods, this certificate also allows the transportation of hazardous goods in bulk in a vehicle or container. With the additional Class 7 module, drivers are permitted to transport radioactive materials above the exemption limits.
Certification
At the end of the course, the exam is administered at an external CCV/CBR location. Participants who achieve a score of at least 70% on the exam will receive the ADR certificate from CCV/CBR. The certificate is valid for 5 years.
