PGS 15 – Storage of dangerous goods

About the training
Would you like to learn how to work in accordance with PGS 15 guidelines? This hands-on training teaches you how to independently apply the regulations from the latest version of PGS 15. It’s ideal for professionals who are required to comply with PGS 15.

Who is it for?
This training is suitable for anyone involved in the storage of packaged hazardous substances and CMR substances, such as:

• Warehouse supervisors
• Compliance officers
• QHSE managers
• Internal and external inspectors

Training Content
The following topics will be covered, among others:

• Legal framework for the storage of packaged hazardous substances • Objectives and application of PGS 15 • Structure and systematics of PGS 15 • Applying different safety levels • Storage of hazardous substances in expedition areas (temporary storage/cross-docking) • Storage of hazardous substances in fire safety storage cabinets • Storage of (tank) containers with hazardous substances at terminals

Prior knowledge & admission Basic knowledge of the storage and transshipment of hazardous substances is recommended but not required.

Training duration

• Basic training: 4 days, classroom-based

Course materials
Each participant receives a hard copy of the latest PGS 15 (on loan). In addition, a comprehensive course manual is provided with clear explanations and guidance.
