Supervisor Luchtvracht

About the Training
Every regulated agent where security checks are conducted must employ a Supervisor trained in accordance with Article 11.2.4 of EU Regulation 2015/1998. The Supervisor:

• Oversees security checks at the regulated agent
• Guides staff involved in handling air cargo
• Acts as a point of contact and mentor for colleagues
• Works with the security manager to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations

Prerequisites & Admission
To participate in the training, the following is required:

• Valid VGB (Certificate of No Objection)
• valid Medewerker Luchtvracht (A) certificate (11.2.3.9)
• valid Controleur Luchtvracht certificate (11.2.3.2)

Important: At the start of the training, the participant must present a valid VGB and a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or ID card). Participation is not possible without a valid VGB.

Training Duration

• Basic training: 4 hours in-class
• Refresher training: 2 hours in-class

Course Materials
The training is based on the National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NOBB) and applicable EU and national regulations. Each participant receives a clear course manual as a reference guide. CITO Exam

• After completing the basic training, you will receive a code for the mandatory CITO exam.
• The exam is available at various locations throughout the Netherlands.
• You can register via the CITO website at a time and location of your choice.
• Exam fees are not included in the training.
• Upon passing, you will receive a certificate valid for 5 years.
