Supervisor Luchtvracht

Every Regulated agent where security investigations take place must have a Supervisor who is trained in accordance with 11.2.4 EU 20115/1998.

PLEASE NOTE:
This training can only be followed with a valid VGB.
The valid VGB must be shown at the start of the training, together with a valid ID / Passport.
If the student does not have a valid VGB, the student will be refused.

For Whom
The course is intended for individuals who supervise the execution of security investigations and oversee the activities of personnel involved in the handling of air cargo at the regulated agent.
You act as a mentor and resource for your own staff and as an air cargo inspector.
In collaboration with the security manager, you are responsible for the internal quality system and ensuring that activities and security investigations are carried out in accordance with internal procedures and national regulations for the security of air cargo.

Course Material
The course is based on the National Training Program for Civil Aviation Security (NOBB) and the applicable European and national regulations.
Each participant will receive a comprehensive course book that clearly explains the subject matter and can be used as a reference.

CITO exam
After completing the basic Security Manager training, you will receive a code that allows you to register for the mandatory CITO exam at various locations in the Netherlands. You can register on the CITO website for a suitable location and time. The costs for the exam are not included in the course fee.
Upon successful completion of the exam, CITO will issue a certificate valid for 5 years. To keep the certificate valid, you need to attend a 1.5-day Security Manager refresher training within 30 months (2.5 years).
After 5 years, you can take the refresher training again and request a new CITO exam through SCS.

Prerequisite

• The Supervisor must hold a valid Air Cargo Employee (11.2.3.9) and Air Cargo Screener (11.2.3.2) certificate before attending this course
• You can also participate in this training with a valid CITO BAL certificate
• The trainee must hold a valid VGB before attending this course

Course Duration

• The basic security manager course consists of four (4) hour classroom training
• The refresher course consists of two (2) hour classroom training
