In-flight Supplies Screener

About the Training
Every regulated supplier where security screening is carried out must have a Screener trained in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998, article 11.2.3.3. The In-flight Supplies Screener course qualifies employees to perform security screening of unsecured consignments with the aim of detecting prohibited items.

Prerequisites & Admission
To participate in this training, the following is required:

• Valid Security Clearance (VGB)
• Valid In-flight Supplies Employee certificate (11.2.3.10)

Important: At the start of the course, participants must present a valid VGB and a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or ID card). Without a valid VGB, participation is not allowed.

Training Duration

• Initial training: 2 days (16 hours) classroom-based
• Refresher training: 4 hours classroom-based or 4 hours via e-learning

Course Materials
The training is based on the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NOBB) and applicable EU and national legislation.

Cito exam

• After completing the basic training or the one-time classroom refresher training, you are required to take the mandatory CITO examination.
• The examination can be taken at multiple locations throughout the Netherlands.
• Registration for the CITO examination is arranged by Customer Service in consultation with the candidate.
• Examination fees are not included in the training costs.
• Upon passing, you will receive a certificate that is valid for 5 years.
