General security awareness

About the training
This course is intended for employees who do not have unescorted access to air cargo. 

The General Security Awareness training complies with EU Regulation 2015/1998, Article 11.2.7 and Module 17 of the NOBB.

The training is intended for drivers who transport air cargo exclusively by means of sealed transport. These drivers are not involved in loading or unloading air cargo.

What Will You Learn?

• knowledge of previous unlawful acts and terrorist attacks against civil aviation, as well as current threats
• knowledge of legal requirements and the elements that contribute to establishing a strong and resilient security culture
• knowledge of the objectives and organization of aviation security, including the duties and responsibilities of personnel who carry out security screening activities
• knowledge of reporting procedures
• the ability to respond appropriately to security-related incidents

Practical information: 
This training is available in English and Dutch.

The “Security Awareness” certificate is valid for 5 years.
