Airport Supplies Security Manager

About this training

This English training is based on the training requirements as described in EU-2015/1998, art. 11.2.5.

About the training
Every secure airport supplies entity (e.g., a Known Supplier) is required to employ a Security Manager trained in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998, article 11.2.5. The Airport Supplies Security Manager is responsible for:
  • Maintaining the entity's approval
  • Drafting the security programme and quality plan
  • Communicating with the airport entity
  • Ensuring compliance with national air cargo security regulations

Entry requirements
To participate in this training, the following is mandatory:
  • Valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) or Security Clearance (VGB)
  • No prior education required

Important: At the start of the training, participants must present a valid VOG or VGB and a valid form of ID (passport, driver’s license, or ID card). Without a valid VOG/VGB, participation is not allowed. Duration
  • Basic training: 3 days in-person
  • Refresher training: 1.5 days in-person

Course materials
The training is based on the National Aviation Security Training Programme (NOBB) and current EU and national legislation. All participants receive a comprehensive course book as a reference guide.
