About this training
In this course, you will learn about the risks that medicines face during storage and distribution, and how these risks can be controlled through GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines. You’ll receive an introduction to the basic principles of GDP and gain fundamental knowledge about medicines. We will also cover the main risks associated with storage and transport, and how these can be minimized. The aim of this course is to raise your awareness of the importance of GDP and provide insight into responsibilities and regulations in pharmaceutical logistics.
Who is it for?
This online course is suitable for warehouse staff, shipping personnel, and
transport workers in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, wholesalers,
distributors, (hospital) pharmacies, and carriers.
Training content
After completing this course, you will be able to:
• Describe what GDP means;
• Identify who the GDP guidelines apply to;
• Explain what a medicine is;
• Explain the legislation regarding medicines;
• Identify the risks involved in medicine distribution;
• Explain the purpose of GDP;
• List the basic principles of GDP.
Prerequisites & Admission
This is a vocational (MBO) level course. No specific prior knowledge or work
experience is required.
