IATA – Awareness of lithium batteries

The online course Awareness Lithium Batteries by Air is for employees of shippers, agents, handlers and airlines, who are involved in the preparation or inspection of lithium batteries to be transported by air. (IATA DGR - Subsection 1.6)

Course duration

This online course consists of a number of modules, covering all aspects of the air transport of lithium batteries and takes 3-4 hours to complete. Each module concludes with a short test.

Course Materials

The E-learning is interactive where possible, with images, making the explanation easy to follow. If desired, the course can be interrupted at any time. If the course is then restarted it will continue from the point where you left off.

• Maximum duration of the training is 3-4 hours
