Approved Haulier: how Special Cargo College helped Isologic prepare for 2027

Isologic, Special Cargo’s transport division, has officially been recognized as an Approved Haulier. With support from Special Cargo College, Isologic has been added to the European database of approved hauliers and is ready for the stricter rules governing secure air cargo transport. 

This recognition is an important milestone for Isologic and the air cargo supply chain in which it operates. Regulations will change on January 1, 2027. From that date, companies may transport secure air cargo only if they hold the Approved Haulier status. Without it, a haulier cannot continue this work. 

A status with direct consequences for the supply chain 

The new rules affect more than hauliers. Known consignors, regulated agents, and customers also depend on partners that can demonstrate compliance with security requirements. If one link in the chain is not ready in time, air cargo planning, capacity, and continuity may be affected.

Achieving the Approved Haulier status is a complex process. Organizations must, among other things, prepare a security program, document procedures, appoint a security manager, screen and train employees, and demonstrate that their security measures work in practice.
