The document with the changes can be downloaded below (English) and is also available in other languages upon request via the IATA website.
Key Changes
Each year, the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations are revised. For the coming year, the most significant changes are in the following chapters and sections:
1. Applicability, section 1.4.3.2.
2. Limitations, section 2.3, 2.8.1 & 2.8.3.
4. Identification, section 4.2 and 4.4.
8. Documentation, section 8.2.3.
9. Handling, section 9.1.3 & 9.3.8.5.
Future Changes
A new appendix has been added to the document with changes that will come into effect on January 1, 2027. These changes still need to be formally approved, but it is important for the industry to prepare for them.
