In order to minimize these risks, safe working practices are very important.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container \" data-type=\"core\/paragraph\"><div class=\"row justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 col-xl-8\"> \n<p>But what is safe work? What provisions must your organization comply with? And how can you ensure that your organization and employees work safely with dangerous goods? As a rule, at least one expert should be present within the organization, supervising the execution of the work according to the safety regulations. The expert performs control of the dangerous goods present in the company.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container \" data-type=\"core\/paragraph\"><div class=\"row justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 col-xl-8\"> \n<p>Take the <a href=\"https:\/\/specialcargo.nl\/cursus\/vakbekwaamheid-behandeling-gevaarlijke-stoffen\/\">Hazardous Materials Handling Competency<\/a> (VBGS) course at Special Cargo College and you will meet the competency requirement set by environmental agencies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container \" data-type=\"core\/paragraph\"><div class=\"row justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 col-xl-8\"> \n<p>Students learn to properly handle and store dangerous goods during this course. They also know how to handle emergencies such as fire, spills or accidents. By taking this course, the student will become an expert on dangerous goods in the workplace. <a href=\"https:\/\/specialcargo.nl\/cursus\/vakbekwaamheid-behandeling-gevaarlijke-stoffen\/\">Registration can be done here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container \" data-type=\"core\/paragraph\"><div class=\"row justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 col-xl-8\"> \n<p>The Hazardous Materials Handling Certificate is valid for five years. The exam is administered by the CCV Division of the CBR at one of the CBR locations. To renew the certificate, you must take the <a href=\"https:\/\/specialcargo.nl\/cursus\/vakbekwaamheid-behandeling-gevaarlijke-stoffen\/\">refresher course<\/a>.
